Jennifer N. Brooks

Jennifer Brooks earned her Juris Doctorate with Distinction from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. While in law school, she was a writer and editor for the McGeorge Law Review. She was also recognized with Honors in Trial Advocacy and became a member of the Traynor Honor Society.

Mrs. Brooks’ practice emphasizes franchise, business entity formation, business counseling, employment, contracts, trademarks, business securities, probate and civil litigation. Mrs. Brooks enjoys working with start-up and existing businesses in the local community and provides vital answers to legal questions so that owners can get back to focusing on what they do best—running their business. Mrs. Brooks also handles issues such as drafting employee handbooks to independent contractors’ agreements, reviewing franchise disclosure documents to franchise agreements, and litigating business partners’ disputes to general contract disputes.

Mrs. Brooks is admitted to practice in all courts of California and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. She is also a member of the Placer County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the ABA Forum on Franchising.

Jeremy B. Price

Jeremy Price earned his Juris Doctorate degree, with distinction, from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.  While in law school, he earned the Witkin Award for the highest grades in Legal Research and Writing, Land Use Planning, and Bankruptcy law.  He is a member of the Traynor Honor Society and graduated near the top of his class.

Mr. Price has extensive litigation experience in the areas of public agency defense, real property, construction, employment, contracts, and business matters.  He also has experience working on matters involving complex real estate transactions.  Mr. Price can read, write, and speak Spanish.

Outside of work, he is active in his community and has held various leadership positions within his church, including youth groups.  Mr. Price enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.  In college, he was a participant in two NCAA golf national championships.

Mr. Price is a member of the State Bar of California and admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California and the United States District Court, Eastern District of California.
